Bill and Elly Patnode, of Yakima, Washington, rescued Andy, a 10-year-old Pembroke, and his buddy Amos, a cocker of the same age, from a shelter in September, 2002. Their owner had turned them in. Andy had perianal gland tumors removed surgically and needed to be neutered. CorgiAid approved this application.
