The Story of Betsy

Last Updated: October 28, 2003

Betsy was a puppymill mom, and was released to a kind vet in Missouri. When she came to rescue, she was so sad, she didn’t even have any spatial reference. She tried to get out of Martha’s car and just fell down, because she was probably living off the ground in a wire cage, and she didn’t realize that gravity would pull her to the ground when she was not in that cage.
Betsy is a sweet and silly girl, she wiggles, and loves to run, run, run with the other corgis and the big dogs. She is just a delight, and I am so thankful that her life is not ever going to include being overbred and living in a wire cage.
CorgiAid supporters have repaid the kind vet for the expenses she incurred in the original rescue of these girls, and are helping them get healthy and happy so they will be ready to find the loving homes they deserve.
Betsy’s rescuer says “If you met Betsy now, you would never know that she has not always been a little princess, she’s so spoiled!”
Thank you, CorgiAid supporters, for helping Betsy and Wilma!
