The Story of Corky

Last Updated: February 01, 2003

Bonnie Sweat with the Tennessee Animal Rescue contacted CorgiAid about a corgi mix female named Corky. Corky was all set to go to her first adoption day when they discovered she was HW+.
Bonnie writes…”We are a very small group and our funds are limited. We currently have two other HW cases with us and we are looking for help with Corky’s medical bills. Any and all help is appreciated!”
CorgiAid was able to grant TAR with the funds needed to treat Corky and get her into an adoptive family where she belongs.
Heartworm disease is a preventable condition and with a simple blood test to determine status, one monthly pill can keep your dog from having to go through the dangerous treatment to kill the heartworms. Please read more about heartworm at the link below….
