The Story of Griffy (was Liberty) |
Last Updated: September 30, 2003
Griffy was found tied to the door of the Liberty shelter by the staff one morning. He was a favorite at the shelter.
Griffy is a very happy boy, and now that he’s healthy, he’s just a funny, silly, corgi boy!
Griffy had a bad skin infection, probably a minor problem that got infected and spread. His neck was raw, the vet feels that the dog scratched himself to the point of bleeding, then the wound got infected and spread to the rest of his skin. Griffy was very dehydrated, but was otherwise in good health and good spirits.
CorgiAid supporters have helped Griffy get over his infection, and he is now up to date on all his vaccinations and tests, and has been neutered. He is a lively, energetic, happy Corgi, who is looking for a forever family who will keep up with his busy ways.
