Last Updated: July 07, 2004
Rescuer: Nancy Cone at nncycon@earthlink.net
Aeries was pulled from a shelter on 6/19/04. She was and owner surrender cause the owner was working 10 hours a day and Aeries was left crated for the whole day. Aeries was spayed at the shelter. Was taken to Donovan Veterinary Hospital on 6/21/04 for general check up,a Heartworm test, and treatment for Kennel Cough. HW was negative,Health was good but has Kennel cough.
Aeries is a very active Corgi-X with the legs, and bark of a Sheltie, and the Coat, face, fur, and stamina of a Pembroke Corgi. She knows how to sit when asked, can shake paw with either a left or a right depending on which hand the humans offer her. Learned roll over after two attempts, and is the only Corgi-X I know of that can actually play fetch with a Tennis ball all by herself. She throws it and gets it and brings it back to her original starting point to start the game all over again. She aims to please and some lucky family is going to get the dog of a life time.
CorgiAid supporters are helping Aeries get healthy so she will be able to find her forever family.
Thank you!
Update from July 7, 2004:
Aeries is now a happy forever homed Corgi girl. The new owners had to find a new name for her cause they have a human Family member with a close name and didn’t want to confuse the two
