This dog was confiscated by the state from a breeder along with 8 other corgis. They were taken to the Kansas Humane Society and evaluated. Three males were turned over to me to recsue. This dog was released specifically because he is nervous and they felt the shelter environment would be too stressful on him.
He is timid but loves attention. If you stand still and let him approach he loves to be petted. However if you approach too quickly he runs away.
Bear required a dental. He had a horribly neglected mouth that you could smell from about 10 ft. away. He needed his teeth scaled and polished and required several extractions.
The kindness of CorgiAid supporters has paid for Bear to have a clean healthy mouth. He feels so much better now!
Thank you!
