The Story of Bogart

Last Updated: July 22, 2004

Rescuer: Karen Hargrove at mhargrov@bellsouth.net

Bogart and his half-brother, Maxwell (aged 3.5) are being turned in by their owner, in TN. Rescue plans to pick them both up on July 25, 2004, and take them to the vet the following week for a checkup, parvo/distemper shot,HW test, fecal test, worming, teeth check, etc. They are current on rabies (as of June 2004) but that’s all. Their owner has agreed to pay for the parvo/distemper for both dogs and rescue has a check from her for that. Both dogs are from a backyard breeder, obviously, but seem to be fairly nicely behaved. They have been outside dogs most of their lives. Bogart may be fed inside, but that’s it. They sleep outside in tiny little houses.
Bogart seems like a nice little guy. I’d be interested myself if I didn’t have my own sweet Digby! I think once he’s cleaned up, housebroken, etc. he will be very adoptable.
CorgiAid supporters will help Bogart get up-to-speed on his health care and his preventives. He will work hard on learning how to be an in-the-house dog, so he can be ready to find his forever home.

This dog is available for adoption. Please contact Karen Hargrove at mhargrov@bellsouth.net for more information.
