The Story of Estelle

Last Updated: June 19, 2004

Estelle’s rescuer says:
“Estelle was picked up as a stray in OKC. A shelter worked took a shine to her – even tho she was cranky and called me. I got Estelle here. PRETTY girl, overweight, and CRANKY… She was sweet with me, but had no use for the other dogs. And I noticed that she was having urinary problems so I treated her for that – but still she would squat longer to pee – I was concerned… When we got to the vet she was spayed YES!!! – BUT she had bladder stones… about 1/4 cup of 1/4 square stones… She is now well and is doing very well. Her bladder works properly and she is much sweeter (not that she would want anyone to know). She is obviously someone’s treasured baby. you can trim her nails and do anything you want with her – she still puts on a good act with the other dogs – but they don’t pay a lot of attention to her posturing… but she is a person’s dog.. And I just love her – she is a hoot…”
She is a really pretty dog, and even tho she has some age on her. She is funny, endearing and a class act. She has a lot of love to give some lucky person who is willing to let an older dog take their heart.
CorgiAid supporters have helped Estelle get rid of her nasty bladder stones, and to get up to date on her health care. Thank you!
