The Story of Lovey |
Last Updated: October 07, 2004
Rescuer: Vicki Bockes at vbockes@comcast.net
Here is Lovey’s story, as told by her rescuer:
Lovey was picked up as a stray and taken to our local animal authority. No one was interested in adopting her; a hold was placed on her by a fellow rescuer who works at the authority so she would not be euthanized and could be given to me.
She was temperment tested at the authority and received a “B” – highly adoptable. She is gentle, throws exceptional calming signals, is a bit shy but very loving. She is the definition of her name.
Health status is unknown; she has two lick granulomas on her left rear foot. She has some weakness in her hips and a trifle in her left front leg. Her teeth need cleaning and a good vetting will determine her true health status.
CorgiAid supporters will help Lovey get up to speed on her health care, so she can look for the loving retirement home she deserves.
Thank you!
