McNair

McNair was left at a vet’s office by his owner who was drunk. He told them the pup was a “Yorkie.” A lady from a local rescue group had him neutered and had his shots, but she didn’t have room to foster him. He came here to Barney’s Orphanage and Paris Lynn’s Charm Skool on Oct. 30th. Unfortunately, he hit a pot hole in the road on his way to a new home. He had terrible “die-rear” and began losing weight. When all else failed, Lily Ruth Fluff offered him a bowl of her i/d kibble soup, complete with Viokase enzymes. His tummy problems ended within hours.
McNair has been tested for Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (Lilly Ruth has it, which is why she needs the i/d and Viokase).
McNair passed his test. The vet thinks he may have had some other (we hope temporary) problem with his pancreas. He is going to be weaned off the Viokase, and then we’ll see how he does.
His foster mom describes him as the sweetest foster she’s ever had.
She has a family who is very interested in adopting him, despite his potential health issues.
CorgiAid supporters have paid for McNair’s EPI test, and will continue to help, should he need it, until he is ready to be adopted.
