The Story of Penny |
Last Updated: April 23, 2004
Rescuer: Beverly Trottier at veggiebev@ecoisp.com
Penny was abandoned – left tied to a trash can in front of Petsmart (one of our regular locations for adoptions) – she had a note accompanying her saying the person did not want her. The note left no name nor name for the dog. Her name was chosen for her colour and her dear disposition. Visit to the vet indicated probable “in heat” condition and heartworm positive.
Penny is extradordinarily sweet, gentle, low-key dog. Quite timid in many ways. Upon any praise or kind words, she will fall over w/4 legs in the air to be loved & have her tummy rubbed. She is good w/cats & dogs – even large dogs.
Corgiaid supporters will help Penny get healthy and strong so she will be able to find her forever home. Thank you!
Penny’s hair is as soft as it looks — some lucky family will get to love this sweet girl for the rest of her life, once she is healthy.
