The Story of Suzie

Last Updated: June 24, 2004

Rescuer: Lindy Bezdek at rescue1@northtxwelshcorgis.org

Suzie is a happy, feisty little girl. She loves to play with other dogs.
Unfortunately, she was born with very tiny eyes, and has limited vision.
CorgiAid will pay for her to be evaluated by a canine ophthalmologist. Microphthalmia (literally “tiny eyes”) is an inherited condition. Researchers at Michigan State University are searching for the genetic markers for this condition, and are collecting DNA samples to aid them in this quest.

This dog is available for adoption. Please contact Lindy Bezdek at rescue1@northtxwelshcorgis.org for more information.
