The Story of Harley

Last Updated: April 07, 2005

Rescuer: Meg Kaplan at mkaplan@lamar.colostate.edu

Harley was admitted to CSU on emergency basis after an unfortunate encounter with a car. He had a luxated pelvis and a distal femor fracture, the latter of which could be repaired with a good prognosis with surgery. His owner could not afford the treatment as it would be about 2,000.00. Thus they saw euthanasia as the only choice.
Luckily for Harley, Corgi Rescue stood by to guarantee payment for his surgery, and luckily for Rescue, CorgiAid supporters will help with the bill. Thank you!
One of his vets has fallen in love with Harley, and will take him home and help him recover.

This dog is not available for adoption.
