Nikki was abandoned by her owner who left for a missionary trip to China. She sent an email to the OV PWCC rescue chair stating that if the dog was not picked up from where she left her, she would be taken to the pound. She sais she would no longer be reachable via email, so we were unable to obtain any information on the dog other than that she is 8 years old. Poor Nikki has serious abscesses, rotten teeth, etc. in her mouth and is in alot of pain from this. She also walks in a “hunched up” manner so we are not sure if she has back problems, hip dysplasia, or ??. She is being seen by a veterinarian this week.
