The Story of Rebel

Last Updated: November 14, 2005

Rescuer: Steve Siemens at stevesiemens@kenscorgiacres.com

Rebel was obtained by his owner from a BYB breeder when the dog was a baby. They had him for 13 years. Problems with family ( divorce and other things) have forced the owner to give up the dog.
Rebel was left at the home when the owners (both adults) moved out. The neighbors fed him for a while and then animal control was called. AC gave the owner 2 weeks to either move the dog or it would go to shelter and be pts due to its age. Rebel’s rescuer was contacted due to people knowing about Ken and I, and well he (the dog is at Steve’s vets now). Rebel was kept in a pen on a long lead for the last 11 yrs due to wife not wanting dog hair in the home.
Rebel is a total sweet heart came straight off to Steve and wanted belly rubs and gave kisses with no food involved.
CorgiAid supporters will help Rebel get healthy, so he can begin to look for a loving retirement home. Thank you!
