The Story of Ruby

Last Updated: February 10, 2005

Rescuer: Sarah Keth at sweetpeafoundation@msn.com

Ruby found herself in a shelter. Luckily, she came to the attention of rescue.
Ruby is peppy and happy, wiggles and arooooo-rooos when she’s excited. She’s a delightful little girl.
Ruby is healthy in all areas, EXCEPT in her mouth. She had severe gum disease with receeding gums and roots exposed on some teeth. There were about 4 extractions required, and now she’s healthy, and should be feeling terrific in a few days with a clean and healthy mouth.
Ruby is residing at the Sweet Pea Foundation health spa in Kansas City, Missouri, while she recovers and gets ready to look for her forever family.
