The Story of Tristan

Last Updated: January 19, 2005

Rescuer: Elizabeth Dukesherer-Faery Tails Corgi R at information@corgirescuestlouis.org

Tristan came from a rural animal control facility. He was well known to the ACO as he was a regular stray whose family made no effort to keep him safe at home. The last time he was picked up by the ACO the family didn’t want him back and left him at the shelter.
Tristan is an exceptionally good natured dog who loves everybody and is eager to please. We have had various Corgi folks give us different opinions on his suspected heritage – some believe Pembroke Welsh Corgi mixed with Cattle dog, others believe him to be a purebred Pembroke with a tail, some say purebred or mixed breed Cardigan… Regardless, he is an all around delightful companion.
Tristan came into rescue full of worms (intestinal AND heartworms!), and with dirty ears. He had a bit of trouble with his neuter (infected incision).
CorgiAid supporters have helped Tristan get healthy so he can look for his forever home. Thank you!

This dog is available for adoption. Please contact Elizabeth Dukesherer-Faery Tails Corgi R at information@corgirescuestlouis.org for more information.
