The Story of Cricket

Last Updated: August 27, 2006

Tiny Cricket (14.5 pounds!) came into rescue with a bladder full (and FULL is the correct idea!) of stones. Without surgery, she would have died.
Cricket is loving, with a sweet personality toward humans and other dogs, both male and female. She is tiny but purebred; has some ‘fur issues’ so that, with her small size, would indicate backyard bred. She put up with a lot of handling from the vet and me when she wasn’t feeling great, and never an attempt to bite. She would rather be right where you are; is attentive to people. Can reach remarkable heights when pursuing food.
Her rescuer is working to find a diet for Cricket which will help her avoid stones in the future.
CorgiAid supporters have helped Cricket get rid of those nasty stones, so she can feel better and think about looking for her forever home. Thank you!
