The Story of Petie

Last Updated: January 29, 2006

Rescuer: Debbie Nosse at nosse_web@yahoo.com

Here is Petie’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Petie was dropped off with a family who has a toddler and 8yo Boxer. He was taken in while they attempted to find his family. He was advertised in the paper, and had flyers put up at all the vet’s offices. The family housetrained him, and in turn, he taught their Boxer to fetch. 🙂 He and the toddler became great buddys, napping together and playing ball. When I contacted them, their main wish was that Petie have a home of his own and owners with time to devote to him since he is so young.
“Even as young as he is, he has an “old soul.” He is very bright and can be very serious, waiting to be told what is going to happen next. Reassured, he will turn and play till he drops with his doggy and human friends.
“He’s an unusual color – Cardi people call it Cream or Pink. His eyes are yellow and his coat a strawberry blonde. He’s very Cardi-looking in the front. From the rear it looks like he hasn’t finished getting into his Corgi costume. 🙂 Hubby said ‘Oh look, a little pumpkin dog for Halloween!'”
CorgiAid supporters have helped Petie get up to speed on his health care so that he could find his forever home. Thank you!

This dog is available for adoption. Please contact Debbie Nosse at nosse_web@yahoo.com for more information.
