Sadie

Sadie is a very sweet, good girl. She has a problem, and is looking for a very special home.
Sadie has pancreatic insufficiency. Her pancreas does not manufacture the enzymes needed to digest food. Purchased enzymes must be added to her food, or she will starve to death, even when she is eating, eating, eating.
Dogs with pancreatic insufficiency do very well when fed small meals which have been treated with the necessary enzymes.
Fortunately, there is a lot of support for owners of dogs with this condition. There is a mailing list, and there have been group purchases of enzymes, to keep the cost down.
Sadie has been designated as a CorgiCare dog, for her enzyme insufficiency. This means that CorgiAid may be able to help with up to half the cost of her enzymes, as long as she lives.
CorgiAid’s primary mission is to provide medical care for homeless corgs. When there is extra money, we may be able to help dogs like Sadie. Her problem was diagnosed when she was homeless, and she has been designated as a CorgiCare dog while she is homeless. We don’t know what the future will hold, so we cannot promise to help, but if we can, we will.
