Sadly, rescue doesn’t always have a happy ending.
Traveler, and 4 other dogs were turned over to us by a backyard breeder, who said she could no longer care for him. Traveler arrived with a heavy HW burden, bad teeth, half his ear missing, and several cancerous tumors, one extending from somewhere inside him and out his rectum, causing real discomfort. The vet’s opinion was that his health issues were too extensive for the lovely 10 year old boy to survive.
CorgiAid supporters helped Traveler go to the bridge, surrounded by people who cared about his welfare, with an end to his suffering. Thank you.
