The Story of Annie |
Last Updated: August 07, 2007
Here is Annie’s story, in the words of her rescuer:
“Annie was turned into a shelter because she supposedly had Cushings. We had her tested, and although the test came back positive, she exhibited no clinical signs. She had a dental and had two vertebra in her back put back into place by our veterinary chiropractor. She has some arithritis in her front legs and one rear knee.
“Annie loves everyone. She is a bit bossy but it’s all for show. One of those smart girls that starts trouble, then walks away to watch the fun. She is a clown, a lover, and a really great old girl.
“Annie began to urinate frequently. Then I noticed blood in her urine. I took her to our regular vet who was sure that he could feel something in her kidney. He suggested the Speciality Clinic for an ultra-sound and a blood work up.”
