Here is Goldie’s story, in the words of her rescuer:
“I rescued her June 1 from a dismal NM shelter. She was turned in by her owner, an old lady with cancer. I took her to the vet yesterday. She has huge bladder stones and is scheduled for surgery Tues., June 5. She is VERY overweight and has been put on a diet. Her blood work came back normal.
“She is very sweet to humans (including children), other dogs, and cats.
“She is well-behaved except for being uncomfortable due to the bladder stones and infection, knows to walk on a leash, how to behave in a car, sleeps in a crate, likes being brushed, and loves being cuddled and petted. She was an old lady’s dog and hopelessly spoiled.”
CorgiAid supporters have helped Goldie get rid of all those nasty stones, so she can be comfortable and get healthy. Thank you!
