Here is Paloma’s story, in the words of her rescuer:
“While at Adoption Day on December 22, 2007 a woman came up to AD and told me she had found a Corgi at River Grove Park, a mile or so down the road. When I went to look in her car I saw a small, bedraggled, nervous older female PB Pembroke Corgi. What are the chances? She has a skin condition and also needs a dental but I could not get an appointment until Jan 3, 2008 and I will have her vaccinated, AVID chip implanted, check for spay scar and HW status checked. I will set up a dental if blood work indicates that would be safe. She appears to be about 7 or 8 years old, has some skin issues (hopefully just a result of the many fleas on her when found). She was so exhausted and pathetic I was just calling her “Little Poor” but realized after a week that nobody was looking for this dog and changed her name to Little Paloma. So I had a loud and hairy Christmas serenaded by my own Corgi, my daughter’s Corgi and the two Christmas guests.”
CorgiAid supporters will help Paloma get healthy so she can lead the happy life she deserves. Thank you!
Paloma will find a new home in the Houston (TX) area.
This dog is not available for adoption.
