The Story of Penny Sue

Last Updated: April 02, 2007

Rescuer: Diane Myers at bdmyers@corgisncritters.org

Penny Sue was lost for 3 months and, by the time the SPCA found her and called her owner, she had been replaced by a cat, so rescue was called. Sometime between Christmas and her arrival in rescue, someone gave her a really bad haircut. Fortunately hair grows back.
Penny has a large fatty tumor on her side, which the vet believes should be removed soon. He also suspects that she has hypothyroidism (which may explain the excessive weight) and needs to run tests to confirm that.
CorgiAid supporters will help Penny get healthy, so she can find the loving forever home who would never, ever, replace her with a cat!
Thank you!

This dog is not available for adoption.
