The Story of Nolan

Last Updated: July 31, 2008

Here is Nolan’s story, in the words of his rescuer: “On 7/12/08 ForPaws Corgi Rescue took four male purebred Pems from the Heartland Shelter in Ottumwa, Iowa. The shelter has been pulling dogs from a massive puppy mill seizure during the past six months, as they’re able to take them. Nolan is one of those puppy mill rescues.
“More information about these dogs can be found on the ForPaws Blog, http://4thedogz.blogspot.com/
“This is one of those extremely sweet fellows. He’s a bit more reserved than the others and preliminary signs are he may be a velcro dog.
“Nolan seems to be the eldest of our four. He’s got “old dog eyes.” He also seems to be the one that most clearly comprehends just how critical it was for him to be taken out of the shelter. There is something special about this little gentleman. We think we’ll see a bit more energy in him now that he’s had his 5 infected teeth removed! Up to now, he’s been rather quiet.”
CorgiAid supporters will help Nolan with his health care needs, including removal of those rotten teeth! Thank you!
