The Story of Bubba Hurley

Last Updated: February 24, 2009

Rescuer: AZ CACTUS RESCUE at AZCactusCorgiRescue@gmail.com

Here is Bubba’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Bubba Hurley came to us as a stray from the shelter. He is extremely obese, with awful teeth and has had a horrible case of kennel cough which is worse due to the fact that he has difficult breathing because of his weight issues. Bubba could not walk at the shelter and is very painful in his knees and elbows due to weight. He has been treated for his kennel cough and is responding quite nicely. He has already lost 2 pounds. His teeth cause him discomfort and for being as heavy as he is, he had to be hand fed, believe in part from teeth and from not being able to smell his food. He is getting back his appetite and his personality is coming through. He loves belly rubs and short walks now and is very happy and loves the other dogs he comes into contact with. (Now that he is not contagious.)”
CorgiAid supporters will help Bubba get a clean and healthy mouth, so he can live the happy life he deserves. Thank you.

This dog is not available for adoption.
