The Story of Caruso

Last Updated: June 24, 2009

Rescuer: Arleen Rooney at azpledge@yahoo.com

Here is Caruso’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Caruso was found abandoned in a filthy back yard after a neighbor reported smelling a “dead body”. Turned out to be piles of dog feces. Caruso was flea ridden and filthy and thin. He wound up at Long Beach Animal Control and was released to rescue after the customary holding period. He appears to have a decent coat with some flea allergy residue on his paws which is clearing up. He also had some minor fly strikes on his ear tips.
“Somewhere back in time this dog belowed to someone who leash trained him, had him neutered and crate and housetrained him. How he wound up in the dire circumstances he did is a mystery.”
CorgiAid supporters will help Caruso get healthy, so he can live the happy life he deserves. Thank you!

This dog is available for adoption. Please contact Arleen Rooney at azpledge@yahoo.com for more information.
