The Story of Ramsey

Last Updated: January 24, 2009

Rescuer: Jeanette DeMars at jdemars1@cox.net

Ramsey was bought in western Kansas at the age of 8 weeks by a woman who had an older corgi mix. The older dog did not get along with Ramsey. The only solution they could come up with was to kennel both dogs.
Luckily for Ramsey, rescue came to his aid.
Shortly after he arrived in rescue, he developed gastro-intestinal symptoms that made the vet think he had a blockage. He had surgery, only to find there was no blockage. At this time, the belief is that he had an episode of pancreatitis. He feels very much better now.
CorgiAid supporters helped Ramsey get treated so he could feel good and live a happy life. Thank you!
