The Story of Higby

Last Updated: August 14, 2010

Rescuer: Beth Vogel at beth.ann.vogel@gmail.com

Here is Higby’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Higby was found by a friend of mine who lives out in the country. He was wandering in the middle of Higby Rd. with a gash on his head, covered with fleas and ticks. My friend couldn’t keep him so after a search to find his owners, I told him to bring him here and I would find him a home. Since then, I have had him groomed and taken him to the vet for an evaluation, tests and vaccinations.
“He seems to love all people and dogs and although I don’t have cats, a friend of mine does and he ignored the cat at her house!
“Higby is a very calm, sweet, intelligent dog. He is housetrained, knows “sit” and “shake”, and has learned his new name very quickly (he does prefer a British accent). I can walk him off lead with my dogs at the park and he comes when I call him.”
CorgiAid supporters will help Higby get shined up on his health care, so he can lead the happy life he deserves. Thank you!

This dog is available for adoption. Please contact Beth Vogel at beth.ann.vogel@gmail.com for more information.
