Poor Grins was a mess when she came into rescue! Hit by a car, pyometra (uterine infection), and if those weren’t bad enough, she also has heartworm!
Here is her story: “Grins pelvis was fractured in several places when she was hit by the car, the shelter paid for her x-rays, but she was not spayed, due to her injury, as they usually do at this shelter. We did all this for her, and she had pyometra. She developed a large lump near her incision that turned out to be only fluid. We also had her teeth cleaned. Now she needs to be treated for HW.”
