The Story of Lindy

Last Updated: September 19, 2010

Rescuer: Marianne Hastey at Corgnlady@aol.com

Here is Lindy’s story, in the words of her rescuer:
“Lindy came from a high kill shelter in MO.She & Rusty & Ellie were turned in by a breeder who was in trouble with the authorities over the awful conditions at their place.
“Lindy is very tiny & very, very cute. She is a little shy, but her new home knows how to deal with a shy dog. They have read On Talking Terms with Dogs: Calming Signals. I’ve gone over how to act around her. She is feeling so good that she will really enjoy their walks & her new sister corgi.”
Lindy came in to rescue with a variety of worms (including, unfortunately, heartworm). She needed a spay (of course!), and she also had two hernias that needed surgical correction.
CorgiAid supporters helped Lindy get healthy, so she could find that forever home she deserved. Thank you! Now she is working on learning how to be a beloved pet.

This dog is not available for adoption.
