The Story of Markey |

Here is Markey’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Markey was found living in the basement of a drug dealers house in IL. His owner often would walk him down the street kicking him as he walked, swearing because Markey was not moving fast enough…. Cardigan Rescue was notified, however, he is not a purebred Cardigan, so they will not cover any medical or put him in their program….
“He is a very sweet boy, people, dog and cat friendly
“Markey has lived one terrible abusive life, and has still has kept his friendly loving nature…He deserves to find happiness, love and a forever home…… No matter what one’s age, it is never too late to be loved.”
Poor Markey!
He came in to rescue with a rotten mouth, and an intestinal blockage. CorgiAid supporters are helping Markey get healthy, so he can lead the happy retirement he deserves. Thank you!
