Here is Boomer’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Boomer’s owner died, and the man’s wife decided that she could not care for ‘his outside dogs’ now that he was gone. So Boomer and four of his yard mates had to go. She called rescue asking for help. After I met him and saw his wonderful temperament and adorable face, but horrible condition, I agreed to take him. Boomer was covered in fleas and has granulomas on both front paws. But a really good flea bath, followed by a medicated bath made him feel much better. He is really overweight, has some of the rottenest teeth I have ever seen, needs to be neutered and is 5 years late for his vaccinations. Luckily he tested free of worms (including heartworm).
“He’s got great potential, and just look how pretty he is.”
CorgiAid supporters will help Boomer get shined up on his health care, including a clean and healthy mouth, so he can lead the happy life he deserves. Thank you!
