The Story of Alexander

Last Updated: October 28, 2011

Rescuer: B. Diane Myers at ccrescue@dogsweetdog.com

As much as we all wish every rescue story could have a happy ending, reality is that some dogs come in to rescue so badly hurt that they cannot be saved.
Tissue alert…………..
Here is Alexander’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Alexander’s owner decided she had too many dogs, and brought him to rescue. The real truth of the matter was that she could not deal with Alexander’s issues after her was nearly decapitated by a larger dog. Overtime it became obvious that the head injury most likely caused fluid build up on the brain and/or brain damage. He was very fearful, had no coordination and poor motor skills. After 6 months in rescue we had no choice but to escort Alexander to the Rainbow Bridge.”
CorgiAid supporters have helped with Alex’s medical expenses incurred while he was in rescue. Thank you.

This dog is not available for adoption.
