Here is Bella’s story:
“Bella came home with us from a rescue group on a trial basis to make sure she and our current dog Chloe can get along. When we got her home I realized how bad her teeth were and knew we had to get her teeth fixed no matter what. Bella went to the Vet today and had her teeth cleaned and they had to remove 5 teeth. We want to keep her as our own, she and Chloe are making good progress toward being friends, but the cost of her dental work was more than I had expected to spend.
“Bella is a total sweetheart. I am just sure that she had been a breeding dog, probably from a puppy mill, my Vet agreed that she probably had been discarded after her last set of pups (she still shows signs of nursing recently). She was found on the side of the road by the rescue group.”
Generally speaking, CorgiAid is only able to help with dogs who do not have permanent homes. Only in the case of a dog who has been with her family for less than two weeks, and who had an issue that clearly existed when she was adopted, is CorgiAid able help with a dog who has found her family. Bella fit these criteria, and CorgiAid is glad to help her stay with her family.
Thank you, CorgiAid supporters, for making this possible!
