The Story of Daisy

Last Updated: August 29, 2011

Rescuer: Diane Hamelin at dihamelin@comcast.net

Here is Daisy’s story, in the words of her rescuer:
“Daisy seems healthy, in spite of her HW+ status: no coughing and no sign of exertion after playing or going for a walk. Due to the shortage of Immiticide, we have started her on the ‘slow-kill’ method for HW (Doxycycline + Ivermectin). When she is adopted, we will send her home with the appropriate meds, to insure that her new owner continues with the regimen for a full year.”
CorgiAid supporters will help Daisy get rid of those nasty heartworms, and generally get shined up on her health care, so she can go forward and lead the happy life she deserves. Thank you!
Daisy is recovering from heartworm in Connecticut.

This dog is available for adoption. Please contact Diane Hamelin at dihamelin@comcast.net for more information.
