The Story of Kipper

Last Updated: June 18, 2011

Here is Kipper’s story, in the words of her rescuer:
“Kipper is a 5 yr old PWC, spayed, and up to date on shots. Her heartworm test was positive at the shelter and they provided doxycycline for her 14 day pretreatment, but now we need to get her treated. She is overweight, but healthy otherwise. She is a dream dog, and will be staying with me, the head of the rescue, once her treatment begins. She was an owner surrender, they only had her about 6 months. The rabies tag on her lead to a dead end, so she was placed with my rescue due to her heartworm positive status.
“She is highly adoptable, housebroken, and well trained.”
CorgiAid supporters stood by help Kipper get rid of those nasty heartworms, so she could go forward and lead the happy life she deserves. Thank you!
Lucky Kipper — another group also was prepared to help her get rid of those nasty worms. Thank you! This make it possible for CorgiAid’s help to go to the next needy corgi.

Kipper was rescued in Tennessee.
