The Story of Lettie

Last Updated: April 03, 2011

We wish every rescue story could have a happy ending, but sometimes it is not to be.
Here is Lettie’s story, in the words of her rescuer:
“Lettie came from the Marshall TX shelter. She was very sweet and loving to people. She had a bad skin yeast infection and a serious rear limp.
“We took her to the vet the day after we got her, and were so sad to learn that her limp was the result of an untreated pelvis fracture from long ago. She was in terrible pain, and it was too late to do repairs.
“We sent Lettie across the Rainbow Bridge so that she would not have to suffer constant, unrepairable pain.”
CorgiAid supporters have helped with Lettie’s final expenses. She left our world surrounded by love and care. Thank you.
