Here is Maveric’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Maveric is the product of a young couple having a baby years after getting their Corgi and now they have no time for him. He is an awesome boy, no ‘quirks’, no behavior issues, just looking for someone who will spend time with him.
“Maveric is one awesome boy!! He loves everyone and is confused as to why he’s with us and not home. He did nothing wrong.
“Maveric showed positive for Valley Fever but is asymptomatic. We are treating him anyway and he is doing fine. He is also on a diet to lose weight and doing well.”
