The Story of Owain

Last Updated: October 28, 2011

Rescuer: B. Diane Myers at ccrescue@dogsweetdog.com

Here is Owain’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Owain had been wandering stray for several weeks in a small rural community. He was picked up by animal control and a corgi owner pulled him to save him from euthanasia but with no intention of keeping him. She called rescue after a few days, but wanted a weekend to consider her options. At one point she was thinking he was so sweet, she might give one of her corgis to rescue and keep Owain!!!
“Owain has both ringworm AND demodectic mange, which was only discovered after the vet tech got her hands on him and was looking at his skin. His lovely coat hid it all. He also needs neutering and vaccinating once his immune system bounces back.”
CorgiAid supporters will help Owain get neutered, and help him get comfortable in his own skin, so he can go forward and live the happy life he deserves. Thank you!
Owain was rescued in Oklahoma.

This dog is available for adoption. Please contact B. Diane Myers at ccrescue@dogsweetdog.com for more information.
