Here is Stetson’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“I found Stetson at the animal control/pound. I was told he was turned in, along with another dog, because the family could no longer afford him (moving and couldn’t take? I don’t know.) I was told they had tried to find a home for Stetson and the other dog but had been unable to find anyone to take him, so they turned the dogs into the pound. The only way Stetson was going to make it out of the pound on 4 feet (as opposed to a dumpster) was rescue, because of his age (12, according to previous owners).”
CorgiAid supporters will help Stetson get to the vet to find out what his health issues may be, and will help address those issues, in the hope that Stetson may live the happy retirement he deserves. Thank you!
