Here is Patty’s story, in the words of her rescuer:
“Patty was in a kill shelter and I was contacted to rescue her as she was pregnant and about to give birth as I was told by kennel staff. I took Patty in and within 1 week of having Patty there was a drop in her temperature and she went into what I assumed was labor. Later to find when we rushed her to the vet the next morning as labor never progressed. It was preterm labor and a puppy had been stuck in the birth canal. Patty was then Spayed. Patty is an overly timid dog. It took her over 2 weeks after surgery to come out of my bedroom for the first time, and 2 weeks after that to go outside for the first time. She is now a happy, but still shy, gal. She is coming along slowly. She is one of the sweetest gals, and has never been a problem. She is housebroken and potty pad trained.
“This is a sweet gal who has had a rough start.”
CorgiAid supporters have helped Patty with her medical expenses, so she can go forward and lead a happy life. Thank you!
Patty was rescued in Texas.
