The Story of Penny Mae

Last Updated: September 23, 2012

Here is Penny Mae’s story, in the words of her reacuer:
“Penny Mae’s owner was moving to an assisted living facility and couldn’t keep her any more. During the transport from her original home to her foster home in the Chicago area, it was observed that she didn’t seem able to urinate freely, even though she was trying very hard. The foster home took her to the vet the following day where they did radiographs and discovered a large number of sizable stones in her bladder. The vet recommended immediate surgery due to the severity of her condition.”
CorgiAid supporters have helped Penny Mae get rid of those nasty stones, so she can feel better, and go forward to live the happy life she deserves. Thank you!
Penny Mae was rescued in Illinois.
