Here is Roxy’s story, in the words of her rescuer:
“Roxy was sent to me from a rural NM shelter because they knew she needed a breed rescue as she didn’t seem to move correctly. She came in wobbly in her back end but in great spirits.
“Rosy has never been aggressive not even in her most severe pain.
“Roxy is one of the sweetest most fun loving corgis I have ever had. She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. She is great with kids, cats, dogs, chickens, anything you introduce her to she is fantastic. Roxy has the kindest soul I have ever been around. She immediately bonded with my disabled daughter the day she came in. My daughter has a hard time petting dogs and it seemed Roxy realized that and went and laid herself in my daughters lap so she could pet her and hug her. She was in terrible pain when she first came in but has never snapped at anyone. She doesn’t care if you take her food or you lay your head on her while she is sleeping or if an unruly child is slghtly rough with her she just takes it and keeps giving kisses. This dog is AMAZING.”
CorgiAid supporters have helped Roxy get the care she needed to feel much better. Thank you!
Roxy was rescued in Texas.
