The Story of Winter

Last Updated: November 12, 2012

Rescuer: B. Diane Myers at ccrescue@dogsweetdog.com

Here is Winter’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Winter was found by citizens. They wanted to keep him, because he’s so sweet. But their other dog did not like him, so they called rescue. After a full examination, it appears that Winter had been shot, twice. One bullet went all the way through, but the other bullet is still in there. The vet feels removing the bullet would cause more harm than good, so the bullet will stay put. Winter also had a UTI, ear infection and heartworms. Winter has been treated for the UTI and ear infection. The good news is that the wonderful person who is adopting Winter from us is willing to accept him, as is, and will take him through the slow kill method of heartworm treatment.”
CorgiAid supporters will help Winter get up to speed on his health care, as he goes forward into the happy life he deserves. Thank you!

This dog is not available for adoption.
