Here is Freeman’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Freeman lived the first 4 years of his life on a chain outside. His owners decided they didn’t want him anymore and surrendered him to an independent rescuer that was volunteering at the local shelter. She took him home and then contacted us to ask if we could take care of him and rehome him.
“Freeman is very friendly with the other dogs in his foster home. He especially likes his German shepherd foster brother and follows him around. He seeks interaction with his foster mom, and although a little wary of foster dad at first, he has become friendly with him also.
“Freeman arrived in rescue with no vet records or care at all. His mouth was stinky and he had some rotten teeth, he was filthy and his hair was matted around his neck where the chain was. Fortunately he is heartworm negative, but he needed vaccination, neuter, dental work, microchipping.”
CorgiAid supporters have helped Freeman get the care he needed, so he could go forward into the healthy, happy future he deserves. Thank you!
Freeman was rescued in South Carolina.
