The Story of Sissy |

Here is Sissy’s story, in the words of her rescuer:
“Sissy was turned into the pound by her owner for ‘not eating’. She is so heavy she has blown out a knee, can’t stand up without help, walks only a few steps then sits down, has trouble standing to defecate, has horrible teeth, and still very happy girl.
“Sissy is uncomfortable. She has chafing under her front legs, making it even more painful to stand up and walk, but she keeps a sunny disposition. She doesn’t eat much now, her teeth hurt her. She came into rescue with pneumonia.
“Sissy starting to feel better, now that she is in rescue. She actually got up to come meet people stopping by, ate all her dinner on her own (have been hand feeding) and even went on a little ‘walk'(starting the exercise!), played some with my hands and we found out she AROOOOOOOOOOS!!! Long way to go, but she will get there!!”
CorgiAid supporters are helping Sissy with her health care expenses, as she learns to love her green beans. You will also help her with her dental work, once she is healthy enough to get that done. Thank you!
Sissy was rescued in Arizona.
