The Story of Axel

Last Updated: October 03, 2014

Rescuer: Gail Hefley at jandg3216@gmail.com

Here is Axel’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“For almost three months, Axel waited in a small town shelter for someone to come for him. His owner knew he was there, but would not pay to get him back which probably means he did not didn’t have much of a life before he ended up in the slammer to begin with. We didn’t know about Axel and the shelter didn’t know about our rescue, so there he sat and waited…and waited. Luckily, a person that knew of our rescue went through town, spotted Axel in the shelter and gave us a call. As soon as we heard about this boy, we started working on getting him out of there. He’s a happy boy that thinks people who give him attention are the best thing in the world.”
CorgiAid supporters have helped Axel get up to speed on his health care, so he can move on into a happy life. Thank you!
Axel was rescued in Texas.

This dog is not available for adoption.
