Here is Cruiser’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Cruiser’s owner died and the family called rescue to take him and his mother, Velvet. He’s a very happy boy with an odd growth/tumor on his face. Owner’s family said it is a birth defect, but we had checked out by a vet to make sure. The growth turned out to be a sebaceous cyst. Our vet drained it, but rightly assumed it would return. She also stated it would risky and difficult due to the location. We consulted with a surgeon and it was agreed that they would remove it and do a skin graft if necessary.
“Cruiser has had the surgery and is doing very well. He’s not very pretty right now, but eventually, he will be beautiful.”
CorgiAid supporters have helped Cruiser get the surgery he needed to make it easier for someone to see what a good dog he is. Thank you!
Cruiser was rescued in Oklahoma.
